Privacy policy update (effective September 25, 2026)

We have updated our privacy policy because we added user contributions and achievements.

What changed

Information suggestions: We use the values you suggest for chart information (BPM, note count, length, release date) and your sources to review them and improve song information. Only values an admin applies become public; your name, your sources and rejected suggestions are not made public.

Contribution points and levels: Accepted contributions are recorded as contribution points that set your contribution level. Your level, points and counts by type are shown on your profile, and contribution levels 3 and above and the admin label appear next to your name.

Chart drafts and chart comments: We use the chart drafts you make and your time-stamped chart comments to review and improve charts. Drafts and comments on drafts are visible only to their author and admins. Published charts show the author's name and contribution level, and comments on public charts show the name, contribution level, time and date.

Achievements: We calculate and store your achievements, and the date each was confirmed, from the records you sync and your activity on the site. Achievements appear on your public profile; if your play scores are private, other people do not see your skill or collection achievements. Only you see your progress.

How long we keep it

We keep this information until you delete your account. It is then deleted, and values already applied and charts already published remain without being linked to you.

What did not change

We collect no new kinds of personal information. Your existing records and visibility settings stay the same, and we use no third-party analytics.
