v2.14.0 Update — Contributions, Achievements and a Refreshed Chart Viewer
NosLog v2.14.0 is now available. Anyone can now help improve chart information and charts, you can collect achievements from your play records, and the chart viewer has been refreshed.
New Features
Chart info suggestions: If a song's BPM, note count, length or release date is wrong or missing, suggest a value with a source from the song page. An admin reviews and applies it.
Create and improve charts: Use "Create chart" on songs without one, or "Improve" in the viewer on a published chart, to start your own draft and request a review. An admin leaves time-stamped comments on what to fix, and once published you are credited as the author. The chart editor works on a PC or a tablet in landscape.
Chart comments: Spot a mistake while watching a published chart? Leave a comment at that moment. Click a comment's time to jump straight there.
Contribution levels: Applied suggestions, published charts, resolved comments, arcade reports and cabinet checks add up to contribution points and a "Contribution Lv.1–6" label. See it in the Contributions section of your profile; from Lv.3 it also appears next to your name in rankings and opinions.
Achievements: Collect skill, collection, challenge and community achievements in bronze, silver and gold tiers. They are checked automatically when you sync, and your existing records count at your next sync. Choose which achievements appear at the top of your profile under Settings → Profile.
Improvements
Chart viewer: The falling view is now fixed at 16:9, so it looks the same on every device. Horizontal beat lines scroll down with the notes like in the game, and trills now look like the game's.
Full screen and controls: Both the falling view and the full sheet can go full screen, and you can change note speed and the metronome without leaving it. Click the stage or press Space to play or pause, use ← → to skip 5 seconds, and on phones double-tap the left or right side to skip 10 seconds.
Charts extracted from video: Charts extracted from play videos now show their source in the viewer.
Visual polish: Tags and grays that were hard to see in dark mode have been cleaned up, and the exam tier view turns green once you meet the required Grd.
Fixes: Translations of official X posts no longer stall occasionally.
