v2.10.2 Update — Private play scores & feedback replies

NosLog v2.10.2 is now live. You can now hide your play scores from other players, and you can read our replies to your feedback right on the site.

New

  • Private play scores: Turn off "Play scores" in Settings › Privacy to leave the music and player rankings and hide your scores and records from anyone viewing your profile. You still see your own rank among public players. You can also choose this when you sign up; scores are public by default.
  • Feedback replies: The feedback window now has two tabs, "New report" and "My reports". "My reports" shows the status of what you sent and any reply from NosLog, and a red dot appears on "Feedback" in the menu when a new reply arrives.

Improvements

  • Opening a song: Opening a song from the music list or a bingo card now takes you to its highest difficulty (Real if it has one, otherwise Expert).
  • Growth chart: The line is now orange, and extra grid lines and the background are gone for a cleaner look. Hover the chart to see a dot with the value and how many days ago it was.
  • Motion: Menus, windows and notifications now open and close with short, consistent motion. Turning on "Reduce motion" on your device switches it off.
  • Pattern trend names: "BPM changes" is now "Offset", and "Chords" is now "Meter changes", to better match what shows up most in NOSTALGIA charts.

Notes

  • Ratings previously given for "BPM changes" now appear under "Offset", and ratings given for "Chords" now appear under "Meter changes".
