NosLog v2.17.2 Update

New features

Terms of Service NosLog now has Terms of Service. Agreement is collected separately at sign-up, and earlier versions are available on the terms page. They take effect on December 1, 2026.
Translation consent Only posts from people who turn on "Allow translation of opinions and replies" under Settings › Visibility are translated. It starts off, and turning it off deletes saved translations.
Pattern tendency The calculation for stairs, repetition, polyrhythm and offset was rebuilt around how NOSTALGIA is played. Meter changes show as None, Low, Medium or High.
Chart info Tempo change counts and tenuto, glissando and trill counts were added. Songs without a published chart show "—".

Improvements

Achievement names Some achievements were renamed. "All difficulties" is now "Strike", "Opinion" is "Commenter" and "Piano school" is "Bible". The "One hand" and "Two Turkish marches" achievements were removed.
Achievement list Pressing anywhere on a row now opens its tiers.
Consistent names Score grades are called "Rank", and a fully completed 25-cell bingo is "Bingo complete".
Score ruler The dots on the score ruler in the song ranking now use the score colors of the ranking table.
Page cleanup Pressing the button of an open select closes it. The Discord connection row in settings, the filter count badge and the numbers in the exam checklist were polished.

Fixes

Fixed songs without a chart showing their pattern tendency bars.

The privacy policy changes on November 8, 2026. It was rewritten in the order the law requires and now lists the person in charge, retention periods, international transfers and translation consent. See "Changes to this policy" for details.
