NosLog v2.17.1 Update

NosLog v2.17.1 is now available. The database and servers have moved to Seoul, pattern tendency on song pages is now calculated from charts, and 57 achievements have been added. This post also covers the changes in v2.16.2 and v2.17.0, which had no announcement of their own.

New features Pattern tendency Stairs, repetition, polyrhythm, offset and meter changes on song pages are now calculated from the note layout of published charts instead of the average of user votes. You can switch between "{difficulty} charts" and "All charts", and songs without a chart yet are shown faded. Achievements 57 achievements were added for song sets, seasons, playing, community, memes and stories, and 4 achievements were renamed.

Improvements Seoul servers The database and servers moved from Singapore to Seoul, so pages open faster from Korea. Page cleanup Focus rings, hover and pressed states, input text size and jacket size in the song list are now consistent. Tooltips now use a dark gray background. Arcade finder Hovering a result card highlights its pin on the map, and hovering a pin shows the arcade name. Visibility When "Show play activity" is off, other players no longer see your record dates or the "Most recent" sort. In an arcade's "Recent checks", players who hide their favorite arcades appear as "User". Security We fixed the issues found in a security review before the official launch. A bookmarklet now expires 180 days after it is registered. When it expires, register it again on the Data Sync page. The bookmarklet you use now keeps working until April 27, 2027.

Fixes Data Sync Fixed an issue where the sync result page did not open after earning a new tier 4 or 5 achievement. Tier lists The "Updated" date now changes only when placements or sections change.

The privacy policy changed on October 28, 2026. Our database provider changed from Neon to PlanetScale, and the data storage and server regions changed from Singapore to Seoul, South Korea. See section 7, "Service providers and international transfers", in the privacy policy for details.
