v2.16.0 Update — Faster Pages and a New Icon

NosLog v2.16.0 is now available. The whole site loads faster, and the new icon and the chart comment box have been polished.

Improvements

Faster pages Fonts are now downloaded in pieces that contain only the characters a page uses, shrinking a font of over 5MB to a few hundred KB. Links are prefetched only when you point at them, and data that everyone sees is built once and shared, so rankings, tier lists and song pages open faster.

New icon The cat circle icon now appears on the home page, the browser tab, profile cards, link previews and the app icon.

Chart comments The comment box in the chart viewer is now a single line below the stage that expands when you need more room. The time display no longer shifts width during playback.

User rankings Each page now shows 20 players, the same as song rankings.

Visual polish Tags, buttons and chart tooltips have been realigned with the design guidelines, and areas that didn't react on hover now do.

Fixes

Tier votes Fixed an issue where votes on the Basic 990k tier list were not saved.

Translation When the translation quota runs out, translation now continues with another model instead of stopping.

Please report anything broken or awkward through the feedback link at the bottom of the page.
